College and Career Expo 2025

      Beyond the impressive showing at the Slick Rock Student Film Festival, Redwood High School's aspiring filmmakers participate in a variety of other prestigious competitions throughout the year. These opportunities provide invaluable experience and recognition for our students' dedication to the craft of filmmaking. Redwood's involvement includes the College of the Sequoias (COS) College and Career Expo, the Porterville Film Festival, All-American Film Festival, the Student Television Network (STN), and the regional Student Production Awards. Each of these events offers unique challenges and platforms for our students to showcase their talent and creativity on a broader stage. 

      At the COS College and Career Expo, Redwood Students took 1st Place in the Digital Film Category, beating out all of the high schools in Tulare and Kings Counties. The Team of Hannah Johnson, Autumn Batti, and Seth Souza won with their film "Running on Empty".
